At this
point, you should have a rough count on images in order to make the following
decisions:
-
Pick an album size- 8x12, 50 pg./ 70 images;
12x16, 50 pg./ 85 images; 2x16, 70 pg./ 120 images.
-
Pick a cover from the manufacturer's Web site-
http://www.graphistudio.com/en/products/Book/index.html and specify any
particular image you'd like to use on the cover, if applicable.
-
Choose an album title - "Marie and John" and Wedding
Date- "August 21, 2004" These will appear on the cover and the first page.
-
Choose additional albums- 8x12 copy of
the bridal album. They feature the same patented binding system and superb
print quality as the bridal albums, except they will have a more
modest cover/jacket to the book, and the pages will not be mounted onto thick
card stock. They actually appear more like a slimmer store-bought book, but
the actual image quality and layout will be the same as the original bridal
album. Get 8 - 4x5 mini books which are great for keeping in
purses and giving out to the bridal party.

FAQ's- Frequently Asked Questions
What resolution do the digital files have to be?
If you send a CD of high resolution scans, the file sizes
should be between 11-18MB with a quality of 300dpi. Sometimes this is confusing,
as often times the files are compressed into a JPG which reduces the file size.
JPG's are suitable, however, if you got the negatives scanned at a lab, there
are always a couple options: low/high. Just to be sure, you can email me a
sample file and I can take a look.
How long will it take to get my albums?
As far as time frame goes, it takes about 3-4 weeks after
they receive the package to get a digital proof. Then it'll take another 2 weeks
to make the book and send it back, so I usually say about 6 weeks. The quality
is amazing, so it's definitely worth the wait.
How much will it cost for an EXACT copy of my bridal book, and not just a
slim version?
An additional book, exactly as the bridal book, will be the
same price as the first book ordered. I, too, questioned the pricing to the
manufacturer, but that is their policy. I believe the individual workmanship
involved in these books is rather intensive, so the cost is the same. They have
some sort of streamlined process for producing the "Parent" -style albums that
reduces the cost significantly.
